Being Thankful.

Just a quick update on life. Job search is still in full swing. And that, my friends, is for the freaking birds. I really thought this stay at home mom thing would be a skip through fields of daiseys filled with crafts and precious cuddling on the couch. Having dinner made at a decent hour and all the laundry done. Boooooooy was I wrong. Instead I clean the same areas over and over, Fold the same laundry multiple times because a certain someone likes to pull it down and wear it around her neck, and then look up and say well crap its 530. I should probably start dinner. Ha! However we have had the pleasure of venturing out of the apartment some. Family came in town last week. Man oh man did we explore! Childrens museum,  Aquarium, German Christmas festival in downtown Denver, and local shops to raid. While they were in town we also had our family Thanksgiving. Seeing is how this was our very first holiday away from our family,  we decided to cook our own meal, but as most know, nothing, and I mean nothing, I do comes without some crazy story. Except this time, it included water. All over the floor. Garbage disposal funk actually. While trying to make man friends "grannys dressing." (And don't get me started on how intimidating that is when you have never made no kind of dang dressing in your life. Dont worry, he said a few more years of tweaking it and I would have it down. After all Granny had 65 years of practice. Sheesh.) 2 hours, every blanket and towel in the house, too many tears, and offering the not so friendly roto rooter man any and everything I could think of (drink, snacks blah blah blah just to realize, nah he aint trying to talk to me, he just wants to talk football. That or make me shut up) we finally got it all fixed and were back on track to having dinner. Which was bomb.com btw. And I do believe we have made friends. They live in our apartment complex. I will call them 107 until further notice.  Anyways so 107 invited our family to the zoo tomorrow. Yay. I met 107 female in the parking lot one dah as I angrily bevame a vulture attcking anyone and everyone who walked out of the door to help jump my car. After a maitenance man said he was "too busy", and another woman said her car was a piece of crap , right before she got it in and drove off, 107 woman was a God send. Ahhh and the friendship began. The next day she and 107 man delivered warm brownies to my door, and thats when they won my heart. So to get the point, this year, more than any other, im thankful for kind people, family who i now see so very little of, and video chatting that has kept me sans. So theres a few ha ha's for ya.oh and a few pic's below. Until next time. XOXO
